My Kind Of Shoe Shopping
I needed to replace my old Diadora shoes, since the adapter for the SPD cleats are kind of misaligned, and it's been hurting my left knee for a while now. I just ordered these Sidi's from Amazon @ 2am. After getting about +$100 ahead at the Palomar this afternoon, I promised myself to get some new shoes. It was raining this morning, and OFC was called off, so I went to the gym to do some weights, followed by spinning. Then I timed the trip from the gym to the Palomar Club, and it was only 3 minutes, even catching a few red lights. It took a lot longer to get my breakfast burrito from the Roberto's drive-thru next door. I was behind two elaborate walk-up orders, and a stream of cars making the efficient trip up and around the tiny stand. I stood in front and watched them make a dozen orders through the window. When you have a food obsession, you get a certain voyeristic thrill watching the inside view of the process. It probably takes the guy at the grill about 20 seconds to make a burrito. It was better than FoodTv, which I watched inside the casino, after asking John (the floorman) for the remote control. Food porn and poker, can't beat it. Except for walking out while it's still light outside, and/or with some profit.

What kind of shoes, and how much?
These Sidi's are cycling shoes, that I'll probably only use for spinning. They cost $145 USD. You're not planning on stealing my order from my doorstep, are you?
Are you size 11?
Geez, that's close. I'll only say I'm 44 Euro, and stay away from my front door.
I noticed that you aren't too worried about your backdoor.
No surprise there.
same size as my husband but fear not, we are too far away for stealing lol they are cute, i love the little red bit on the bottom... is that to ensure your feet dont slip? am not so sure how this spinning thing works. I may give it a go after joining the gym though! They call it RPM - Raw Power in Motion, the calorie killer. Sounds kind of brutal really :)
