Stephen about those mobile food kiosks, im usually wary for hygiene reasons because ive been sick before but there is one that comes here to town every saturday from very far north and sells fish stuff like kibbeling, lekker bekjes, maatjes met uitjes and other fish treats. but other than that i avoid the wafel/pastry stands, the bratwurst stands -only 1 bratwurst stand i trust and its quite a drive there in Germany-, the frites stands arent really worth it, its much nicer to go into a snack shop for frietjes met mayo/frietsaus Hope that answers your question!! Where is that photo you took? Poland?
Hmmm. I'd eat most anything from a mobile vendor, except for fish :) Other than that, I'm more concerned with the calories and quality than I am with the hygiene.
Fries with mayo. That's just wrong here, but I personally think ketchup and fries is horrible. I really hate ketchup.

I, too, find it odd that you would trust mobile fish and not mobile pastries. Do you like your chicken medium-rare?
Ohhh no, guess i should have mentioned we actually know the guy personally and he knows how anal retentive i am about that stuff so takes extra special care with my order on saturday when we go by. if mayo is too hardcore Euro for you you can always go with frietsaus which is an electric yellow spiced up type of mayo sauce, its quite nice... also if you order a frites speciaal you get a type of sweet curry ketchup type thing. very interesting, you'll have to try a bit if you're ever in town and see if it changes your mind about the mayo :)
PS to Very.A.M, i just avoid the pastry carts for waistline reasons. other than that they are great!! especially with lots of whipped cream mmmmm cream
