Tasty Food Diet

I'm on a fitness and weightloss mission, while looking for the best take-away food around.

Saturday OFC

I couldn't get up for spinning, but I did make it to Outdoor Fitness Camps this morning. I stopped by Ocean's 11, where I haven't showed myself in like 3 years. I wanted to see what the poker boom did to the casino, and to see people's reaction at my resurrection. They've opened up the tournament room on a permament basis for the low-limit ($1/$1, $1/$2) NL games. They've done a reasonable, but cheap job of trying to make the room something like the Bellagio poker room. Meaning they put up faux-architectural columns, moldings, wallpaper, and oil paintings of 19th century Parisian street scenes. But mostly, you see a bunch of tables of young posers losing small sums of money to bad beats and the $4 rake on a $1 blind game.

Of course, I lost $41 USD, and a few hours of sleep I would have gotten had I driven directly home. It was nice to remind myself why I don't go to these rooms anymore. I saw a bunch of faces that look just the same. Colin was working the floor now, and Carla is a dealer (but probably still a maniacal omahalic). Josh is still alive and working graveyard floor in the low-limit room. (He thought maybe I fell off the face of the earth.) Mike (Mohammad) saw me and was really keen on having me take a look at some new game, and analyzing it. He's pretty exciting about it, because he thinks there may be an edge that no one knows about. I love looking at these kinds of things, and it may end up being interesting. I gave him my email address, and asked him to send me the details, because I was really tired from the long day and drive, and wanted to get home as soon as I either doubled up or went busted. Acutally, someone else went busted, and we broke the game, which I took as an excuse to get home by 2 am.

OFC was a good workout this morning. In the picture above is Mike, Angie, Sherrie, Kirsten, me, and Randy, who ran the session with Jason. I didn't have time to run before class, but I skipped breakfast (just ate an apple), and held off on Tacos El Gordo, and instead had 1 1/2 tofu salad rolls and a chicken leg and wing. I'll try to get out of the house and keep busy for the rest of the day. After I take a nap.

P.S. Thanks for not wringing your shit out on the dog.

P.P.S. NO thanks to the lady that gave the dog that likes to pee MORE water. Do you see me giving snipers more bullets?

Do your readers know what FitCamp is about? Because you hardly mentioned it, and it seems that there is room for all sorts of material there. Also, does everybody at camp know about the blog? You know what egomaniacs they are.

Well, usually the girls are the ones to blog, so maybe we can get them started. After all, they're the ones doing the 5-camp a week workouts.

The girls redirect their blogging energy into their jaws.

Maybe we can talk more about nursing.
