Butter Burger

Ok, I didn't eat one of these, but I saw it on Hamburger America, a documentary I caught on the Sundance Channel. It's a butter burger, from Solly's Grille in Milwaukee, WS. It's a simple idea, a huge dollop of real Wisconson butter, on a hamburger. It's the house specialty, and everybody loves them. They serve hundreds of these burgers every day, and much of the staff have been doing it for many, many years.

The documentary is all about these regional hamburger stories. There's no health message here. It's a celebration of tradition, and mild obsession. It's not Super-Size Me.
