Measuring Calories

While preparing my (post-workout) lunch today, I weighed everything down to the oil I used to cook with. I haven't done this before, but I wanted to get an exact measurement.

Lunch:
230g mushrooms + 145g orange peppers + 200g broccoli + 170g onions = 225 cal
86g beef = 140 cal
70g brown rice, raw = 260 cal
5g oil = 45 cal

total = 668 calories

I never measured vegetables before. I used to assume it was 0 calories. I don't know why. I guess I just figured they were healthy. They add up to quite a lot tho, especially when they weigh .75kg. The oil used to cook adds up too.
